Commission Fees and Process
Planning a successful commissioned painting involves
collaboration between the artist and client.
I will initially meet with you in person or by
telephone. During this time, we will discuss the
possibilities of the composition. We may not finalize
these decisions until the photo session or next
discussion.
I can take photographs at your location or you may
provide images for creating the piece of work. It is
important to communicate as many preferences as
possible.
For the follow-up discussion, I will email copies of
the photographs or rough sketches for you to review.
From these choices, we will discuss the best method to
proceed. Once the composition details have finalized, a
detailed sketch is provided for approval via email
before the painting is started.
Starting Commission Fees:
$250 . . . . 11" x 14"
$500 . . . . 16" x 20"
$750 . . . . 20" x 30"
Paintings are priced after the requirements for the
piece are discussed. Fees increase proportionally
for larger sizes and more difficult compositions. Fees
do not include framing, travel, and sales tax. Final
payment is due upon delivery.
